About Sydney Freedman, PA-C
Sydney Freedman, PA-C, is a nationally certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from RUSH University in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to Physician Assistant school, Sydney worked for several years as a dermatology medical assistant in Michigan. Her passion for dermatology continued to strengthen while at RUSH University where she obtained additional clinical training in dermatology and focused her master’s research project on adult female acne.
Sydney enjoys treating patients of all ages and skin types. She prides herself on getting to know her patients, which allows her to tailor treatment plans to each individual. Sydney places an emphasis on patient education and shared decision making. She ensures patients understand their diagnosis and all available treatment options. In doing so, together, she works with patients to find what best fits their goals and lifestyle.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
In her free time, Sydney can be found spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and exploring the latest restaurants and coffee shops.
