Hannah Hazlewood is a nationally certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. After struggling with acne growing up, she chose dermatology because she wanted to help others with skin conditions gain confidence and feel their best. Hannah grew up in Champaign, Illinois. She graduated with high honors from the University of Illinois where she studied Community Health with a focus on Health Education and Promotion. Prior to attending Physician Assistant school, she gained clinical experience working as a dermatology medical assistant. Hannah attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science where she received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice. In addition to general medical training, Hannah completed elective rotations in dermatology and head and neck surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (ISDPA). Hannah is also completing a dermatology fellowship through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Her most in-depth dermatological training to date has been fostered by Dr. Soleymani himself and she maintains her certifications by actively attending medical courses and conferences to stay up to date on new advances in the field. Hannah is able to diagnose and treat countless dermatological conditions and performs cosmetic procedures such as chemical peels, Botox, and microneedling, under the supervision of Dr. Soleymani. We consider her to be an extension of his medical care and they have adopted a team-based approach in providing unparalleled patient care. In her free time, Hannah enjoys cooking, baking and walking her dog, Milo. She looks forward to seeing you at our Valparaiso office!
