What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that rejuvenates and revitalizes your skin. Microneedling involves using a small handheld machine containing 12 ultrathin needles to create controlled microscopic injuries in the treatment areas.
This needling stimulates your body to produce more collagen, which in turn creates smoother and younger-looking skin.

What is microneedling recovery like?
Expect some redness and swelling in the treatment area for a day or two after the microneedling procedure. Tiny scabs typically surface in those first few days as well, and they may feel a bit itchy. Resist scratching or otherwise agitating your skin, as these scabs need to slough off naturally in the next week.
You can follow your daily routine after microneedling treatment, but you should avoid sun exposure for a couple of days. You can wear makeup starting at about 12 hours after the microneedling treatment, but be extra gentle when washing your skin (no scrubbing until you’re fully healed).
