Stephanie Carmean | MD, FAAD

Stephanie Carmean, MD, FAAD is a native of Northwest Indiana and is thrilled to serve the community she knows and loves. Dr. Kuschel graduated with highest distinction from Indiana University with a degree in Journalism. She went on to obtain her doctorate in medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine and then completed her dermatology residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she served as academic chief resident. Throughout her years of medical training, she published in several peer-reviewed journals and was active in volunteering and teaching. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Dermatology, the Chicago Dermatological Society, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.

Dr. Carmean's clinical interests include pediatric and adult conditions including acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, psoriasis, and skin cancer prevention.
